You had a full year and downright spectacular! I think neither can you believe how many nice things have happened in 12 months. You were very brave to shave your hair! I hope that 2017 brings you at least as many adventures as the previous year.

Thanks so much. Definitely a small sacrifice on my part considering the bigger picture. I’m just happy that the hair was put to good use and hopefully the funds we raised is a small stepping stone to help families.

Such a great year you had! I’ve always wanted to go backpacking with my bf but we still haven’t managed to. Reading your recap really motivated me to do the same this year 🙂

Congrats on having an awesome year and well done on the snowboarding too. I can remember my first week and the satisfaction of finally managing to get down the slope without falling all over the place. Have a wonderful 2017 and I hope it’s full of more adventures and nice moments.

You guys had an AMAZING year! I’m so proud of you for participating in the Great Shave. That’s so kind of you. Also, I can’t imagine how surreal it must have been to meet your sponsor child. I’m sure that was such a great experience. I hope 2017 is just as great for you!

what an epic and inspirational year! The Shaving shows so much about your character… its both noble and admirable. Kudos! Loved the way you spent the new year, I much prefer moments like this too 🙂 Conquering my fear of heights is something I really need to work on but this post has totally given me more courage. Thank you for sharing!

Just WOW, that is such a busy year AND YOUR HAIRCUT!!! That blows me away. I was planning to shave my head after college graduation, but I had too many other crises happening at that time 😀 Short hair really is liberating, and it is totally true that you get treated differently by men in public (especially if your husband/boyfriend isn’t around) when your hair is long vs. short. For me it was like night and day! Anyways, enough about the hair. I’m going to check out your Iceland tips, as I’m headed there next month. All in all, I am beyond impressed that you traveled so much! Are you traveling full-time?
